Having trained over 60,000 participants in Singapore, Malaysia, India and Australia, Kapap Academy has an unrivaled track record in ‘educating and empowering’ others to stay safe. The Academy is the only self defence school in the world that has received formal recognition from the Queen of England for its work in saving lives.
In 2017, CEO/ co-founder of Kapap Academy, Ms Qin Yunquan, was awarded a Queen’s Young Leader’s Award for its social initiatives empowering in particular women and children with realistic self defence skills. Ms Qin also received a Citation under the Singaporean of the Year Award (2017), and recognised as an Honoree under Forbes 30 under 30 (2018). In 2019, she was the only Asian to be made a Brand Ambassador by Converse globally, and was a finalist under the Women of the Future Award.
